Automation & internal tools, product compliance at Amazon · Gdańsk, Poland

I started in product compliance at Amazon. These days most of my time goes into building tools for EMEA and worldwide teams, aimed at the parts of our daily work that are slow or error-prone. So far that's 13 Chrome extensions, 2 AI-based applications and an internal extension store. Together they have saved more than 35 headcount across EMEA. I'm now leading an AI-agent project for end-to-end process automation.

I don't have a software background. I design the workflow and the logic, write the code with AI, and know it well enough to debug it. Outside work I've built two mobile apps the same way.

Tools at work

Internal tools, so described in general terms. Most of them weren't requested; I built them after running into the problem myself.

ToolNest

Web app on AWS · in use

An internal store for team-built Chrome extensions, so they're no longer passed around as zip files. Employees browse and install, owners publish updates, and admins review submissions. Packages are signed, and installed extensions update automatically. Built on Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront and KMS, with automated tests.

Classification status dashboards

Chrome extension · ~500 users worldwide

Shows every classification class and the stage it's in, with separate editions for EMEA, APAC, NA/LATAM and Japan plus a global view. Before this there was no tracking at all; people noted their classes by hand. When it went live, it turned up thousands of classes worldwide that had been forgotten before launch.

ArgusFlow Monitor

Chrome extension · 1,000+ users worldwide

Checks time-tracking entries as people make them (missing sub-tasks, breaks, invalid entries), so the time data management relies on is correct.

Sincap

Chrome extension · ~200 users worldwide

A toolkit of 25+ small automations for the systems the team uses every day. The most used part, the class creator, takes each class from about 3 minutes to 15 seconds. Each user creates 15–20 classes a day.

Recall dashboard

Chrome extension · ~100 users in EMEA

Categorizes tickets, tracks SLAs across time zones and builds pivot reports. It replaced an Excel macro that took over 5 minutes per refresh and didn't work for some users.

GPSR reporting assistant

Desktop app (Python)

Prepares the monthly EU product-safety report: matches the data exports, updates the master file, creates per-country reports, uploads them to SharePoint and drafts the email. It cut the work from two working days to a few minutes.

Smaller tools

Most of these are used by around 100 people in EMEA.

Helping others build

I run biweekly sessions in my team where I teach colleagues to build their own tools and help them when they get stuck. Outside those sessions I review ideas, fix bugs and suggest improvements. That support adds up to 20+ tools so far, including several modules in Sincap.

I'm also an AI mentor for the Gdańsk site. We run site-wide meetings and workshops on how AI works and how to use it in everyday work.

Own projects

Safaa

iOS & Android · 5,000+ downloads · Flutter, Firebase

A prayer companion app with prayer times, Qibla, Quran and dhikr content, plus points, leaderboards and friends to help keep the habit. I designed, built and published it on my own.

TipTongue

iOS, Android & web · Flutter, Supabase, Cloudflare

A multiplayer word and trivia game where you can answer out loud. It's available in six languages, each with its own question bank. Speech is recognized on the phone first, with a cloud fallback.
